Academics, Strategic Thinking, & Enrichment
for the Next Generation

Mentorship for the modern mind. We blend academic mastery with creative strategy to help students navigate school and the world with confidence.

What is “meta?”

The Smartest Way to Play

In strategy games, "the meta" is the approach that's been proven to be the most competitive, the most intelligent, the most effective. It's what the best players have figured out, it’s the game behind the game; the winning strategy.

That's how we teach. We identify dormant skills in each student, helping them find their “meta,” the learning approach that clicks with how they actually think. Using a blend of strategic thinking, storytelling, and creative problem solving to make academics feel like anything but school.

How We Teach

We call it the Trojan Horse Method.

After a 10 year stalemate, the Greek army built a massive wooden horse that they gave as a “gift” to the kingdom of Troy, little did the Trojans know that inside this horse the Greek army was waiting to overthrow them.

Everyone has something that they’re passionate about: A game, a story, a question that won't leave them alone. We help find that passion and build the learning through it.

A student who loves fantasy or history isn’t just tasked with writing a persuasive essay, instead they need to implore the king to send their armies north to defend against a rebel invasion. That's persuasive writing, public speaking, and understanding rhetorical structure. They just think they're playing a game.

A student who loves animals or nature isn’t just tasked with memorizing facts, instead they get to design their own animal from scratch, assigning stat points and abilities based on real evolutionary traits. That's biology, research, and analytical thinking. They just think they're building a creature.

A student who loves to question everything isn’t just tasked with a persuasive speech, instead they have to convince a group to follow their survival plan after crash-landing on an alien planet. That's persuasive speaking, evidence-based reasoning, and thinking on your feet. They just think they're trying to survive.

The academics are real. The engagement is real. The difference is the entry point.

The Strategist &
The Storyteller

All minds inherently love to learn, but traditional methods don't fit every student. We believe that by bridging academic rigor with the engagement of strategy games and the creativity of the arts, we can unlock genius in unexpected places.

At Meta Mind, our goal is to identify your child's unique learning style—whether they are gifted, neurodivergent, or simply uninspired—and challenge them to master their own potential.

  • World-Class Strategist: Ranked in the top 0.1% globally across competitive strategy games (Magic: The Gathering, Hearthstone). We teach the "metagame" of logic and risk.

  • Speech & Debate: Experience in Public Speaking, Debate, and theater used to teach public speaking, confidence, and passionate self-expression.
